By now my readership will know of the baseless attacks on my book that is "Holstory - Gunleather of the Twentieth Century" www.holstory.com that are appearing via YouTube by a company called Ruffiano International that is a front for Lawman Leather and a man called Jerry Ardolino.
Ruffiano International makes and sells a copy of E.E. Clark's 1930s shoulder holster and claims its copy as the Original Dirty Harry holster. Trouble is, not only is the version made by Ruffiano International NOT the holster that was used in any of the Dirty Harry movies -- again, that was the Clark holster as made by Bucheimer-Clark in the 1960s and 1970s including for Lawman Leather -- but the Ruffiano International version made in Texas under the brand Lawman Leather has no retention spring inside it!
Ruffiano International is a company that is comprised of the Jerry Ardolino family that operates Chicago-style in that Jerry was born there with criminal associations that he brags of in his various writings. And in that vein, because Ruffiano International cannot refute my findings that the Original Dirty Holster has no spring inside it to retain the Dirty Harry revolver that weighs several pounds, under Jerry Ardolino's supervision the company is attacking the book Holstory on various venues including YouTube and LinkedIn.
It's important that you understand that these attacks are the product of a sociopathy known as Borderline Personality Disorder. People who suffer from BPD and its cousin that is Narcissistic Personality Disorder, counter any and all challenges to their narrative with what is called 'gaslighting'. Don't be fooled into thinking that gaslighting is an effort to counter unwelcome claims with facts. Gaslighting is a personal attack to create doubt in the opponent himself. In this case, that would be me; but my self confidence in my gunleather work is unshakeable and that absolutely includes the book Holstory.
The book Holstory is entirely true including the facts about Ardolino's much-loved J.M. Bucheimer and Bucheimer-Clark holster companies with which he is not affiliated; they failed in the late 1980s. The Second Edition augments the completely true and factual tale of the two companies with more information in the added chapters that reveal information that was carefully concealed by Ardolino as irrelevant to his Lawman Leather narrative.
NO INTELLIGENT PERSON VIEWING THE ARDOLINO VIDEOS COULD BELIEVE A WORD OR IMAGE IN THEM. IN DEMONSTRATING THE RETENTION OF THE HOLSTER, JAMES ARDOLINO LITERALLY HAS HIS MUSCULAR HAND CLAMPED AROUND THE HOLSTERED PISTOL! HOW STUPID DOES HE THINK PEOPLE ARE, WHEN THE REVOLVER IS MEANT TO COME OUT OF THE SIDE THAT HE HAS CLAMPED SHUT!!
Certainly I wouldn't want any such persons to own a firearm, carry it in a holster, or have a copy of my book in their library!
I LAUGHED OUT LOUD WHEN I WATCHED THE VIDEOS, WHICH ARE CAPTIONED SO I DIDN'T HAVE TO LISTEN TO THEIR WHINING. This family is seriously demented :-).
