Two restored posts that explore Chic Gaylord and the man who originally created then made Seventrees' gunleather for Paris Theodore; who was Bob Angell also of NYC.








To bring this all 'full circle', one of my blog posts about Paris Theodore shows the near certainty that the prototypes of Angell's for Paris' press launch in '68, made their way to Bruce Nelson in CA in '67 via Seventrees' board member Jeff Cooper. This is the year that Bruce states he 'invented' the Summer Special and the Professional that are Seventrees styled; plus the Nelson M&P for Bianchi that appeared in Bianchi's '69 catalog (put to bed in '68). I knew Jeff personally and his record is that he cared not one whit about who invented what first (Nelson, Sparks, Angell, etc.):
