The Hollywood holster set was so-called by Arvo Ojala because he was based in Hollywood; it is not the pejorative term that it has been made out to be by today's writers.

1965's "I Spy" above, with Alfonso's inverted shoulder holsters. Below, one such holster recently has appeared on eBay. The arrangement of spring wires would have at least kept the pistol in place for the few minutes the holster was visible on screen :-).
