Forums are infected with the non-wisdom of the masses and tops amongst this non-wisdom is the idea that wrapping your pistol in a plastic bag, then stuffing the bagged pistol into your holster, will make your leather holster larger inside. I had one numb-nuts telling people to keep adding bags until their holster was larger. OMG. If your DRY holster loosens on your pistol, it was THE PISTOL not the damned plastic bag(s).
So that I don't have to type it for the eleventy-leventh time, below is a cut straight from an obscure forum I have joined recently (it has a Brill thread running). The OP is speaking of the 1790 brand of holsters, and below that is my response to his and others' handwringing:

On the basis of that post alone I received a PM from the OP calling me a 'fuker' misspelled but he got it right the second time; and inviting me to TX so he could punch me in the nose (for what I do not know). When I pushed back by posting his PM on the thread I was BANNED from the forum:

It seems that in Texas they really DO shoot the messenger. And would do it literally if the messenger were a neighbor. Almost as if they were Democrats. Which makes sense, the Texans of the Civil War were Dems. And German born. My ancestry is pure English, purer than the King of England, who is my second cousin many times removed (both of us descended from King Edward III via two of his sons). Yeah, I know, my own sons made snoring sounds when I outlined our descent from the Brits who came to America at the time of the English Civil War. But no Germans, and no Democrats, and no Texans by blood (only my first wife who was from Tyler). Is that all inflammatory? God, I hope so.
