"Holstory" is at the Library of Congress :-)

Updated: Nov 10

As promised to the very unpleasant (like that?) Texans at Lawman Leather, my book "Holstory -- Gunleather of the Twentieth Century" now is on deposit with the Library of Congress.

They have been the Hamas to my Israel, attacking Holstory as 'not the true faith'. And I've been fighting back for several years and now operate FOUR websites to that end :-).

This matters because the family that operates a business calling itself Lawman Leather (but is not a registered business in any State of the union) has conflated my general writings here and on forums with the book "Holstory"; of which are same author but these are not the same writings. And so the family attacks the book itself, which book is entirely factual as a researcher when what they disagree with instead is my professional opinion about their "Holster With No Spring" as a pro designer/maker.

So I promised them that, as a 'thank you' for all the vitriol they've published about Holstory, a copy of Holstory would go on file at the L.O.C. Holstory the Book explains truthfully about their holster, and the makers they not-so-truthfully lay claim to: the Bucheimer companies.

This means that Holstory's review of the Bucheimer companies, among others, is now a permanent record available to any and all without purchasing the book itself; by visiting the L.O.C. To wit:

Read all about the evolution of today's gunleather during the 20th century in the second edition of my book, published 2022 and available at www.holstory.com .
